Football coach
Qualification: The introductory Level One Award in Coaching Football course is available throughout the country.
This course provides an introduction to the organization and delivery of safe and enjoyable coaching sessions for players, providing practical drills to develop players.
The Level One is just one of 47 different football qualifications run by FA Learning, open to everyone willing to improve their knowledge and experience of the game.
Courses range from the basic entry level qualifications such as the 1st4Sport Level One Award in Coaching Football to more advanced levels such as the UEFA A and Pro Licences or the FA Youth Award Courses. There are also courses which deal with more specialist areas of football education, such as Goalkeeping Coaching level One of Coaching Disabled Footballers.

The activities and duties of a football coach
The activities of a football coach would be:
· Make sure the players are active and moving so they don’t get cold and bored.
· They would be dribbling in and out of cones to work on there footwork’
· Plyometric work so jumping certain heights to improve on the leap for heading the ball in the air.
· And it depends what kind of level you are coaching at if its professional you will have to give the players a challenging and tough with and without a ball training session but if it’s amateur just keep them moving and active with a ball at there feet most of the time.
The duties of a coach would be:
· Make sure before players go out to train the equipment is out ready and you already have your session planned.
· Make sure you have the correct equipment for your session.
· Make sure the all the players are fit enough for training so no injuries or illnesses.
